About KIDSVILLE LEARNING CENTER

KIDSVILLE LEARNING CENTER offers developmentally appropriate educational programs for children ages six months to twelve years of age. We provide childcare excellence for the community that is both accessible and affordable.  Kidsville is an active participant in Pennsylvania Keystone Stars Initiative and United Way's Success By Six. We have partnered with the Philadelphia School District to provide a Head Start program for children ages 3-5. Our high quality enrichment programs are staffed by professionally trained personnel in spacious and stimulating environments. The safety of our children is our first priority.  Our goal is to impart a stimulating, fun-filled learning environment that embraces children's natural curiosity and helps them to reach their full potential.  We appreciate the diversity of each child and strive to inspire excellence through education, cultural, social and recreational activities that inspire lifelong learning.  Many children enter as infants and continue through the school-age program. It is our goal to introduce children to a balanced program which allows for interaction with friends in both teacher-directed and child-directed experiences.  We provide an environment where children are safe; receive individual attention and affection; develop satisfying relationships with other children and adults; develop self-discipline; experience successes in order to develop a positive self-image; learn to respect the personal rights of others and develop intellectual, social and physical skills.

One of our hallmarks of the program is its focus on reading, math and kindergarten readiness.  Our program provide students many opportunities for new learning experiences through active exploration of a material-rich environment. Children participate in a variety of activities that will assist them in reaching their developmental goals.  Students develop skills in a multitude of arenas:

Phonics-Based Reading Programs                                   Creative Arts and Crafts
Reading, Writing and Math Readiness                              Pre-School Spanish Classes
